Casa Mexicana is by name and nature Bahrain’s home of Mexican food, serving the traditions of Mexico since 1993.
The kitchen is headed by chef Senon ‘Romaldo’ Martinez, a Mexican native who learned his trade first from his mother and later in hotels in both Mexico the US. Chef Romaldo certainly does justice to the food of his homeland; everyone will find something to enjoy in an ambience which is as delicious as the food.
Situated in the heart of Adliya, one enters an unimposing villa to find a world of Mexicana: warm interiors, brick walls, wooden floors and leather chairs. Service is fast and the food fresh and hot from a vast menu of dishes, ranging from nachos, quesadilla, tostadas and tacos to enchiladas, fajitas and vegetarian dishes. Order a day in advance if you want to try authentic Mexican dishes such as tamales and menudo. Even the desserts, such as churros, have chef Romaldo’s Mexican touch.
Open from noon to midnight, seven days a week with live entertainment, reservations are recommended.
